ADJUNCT SCHOOL MANAGER

Dear Parents/Guardians, Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for choosing The Hillside Christian Schools as your preferred learning institution for the 2025-2026 academic year. Our mission as a Christian school is to cater to the holistic needs of the child, allowing them to address their full God-given potential. This is done under the guidance of the Bible, carried out by a dedicated staff with the help and cooperation of parents and other stakeholders. Our theme for this school year is “Building Legacy Builders – One Child at a Time.” With this in mind, we aim to inspire our students, staff, and families to truly understand what it means to build a lasting legacy — not only through academics but also through character, service, and sustainability. We’re excited to share that our school board is actively working to reopen our greenhouse. This space will provide students with hands-on learning in farming and sustainable practices that will benefit them and the wider community for years to come. Additionally, we are proud to be part of the “Green Dreams” school waste management project, which promotes recycling and environmental responsibility. Our school received an award last June for collecting the most plastic waste during the 2025–2026 school year — a testament to our students' commitment to making a difference. As an educational institution, we remain focused on nurturing well-rounded learners — critical thinkers, problem solvers, avid readers, creative writers, and innovative leaders. We believe in our students' ability to meet academic challenges while growing socially and emotionally. Our continued use of technology and digital platforms ensures that students are well-equipped for both in-person and online learning. We look forward to all we will accomplish together, with God’s grace and guidance, and we thank you for your continued partnership and support. As our school motto goes, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil. 4:13 On behalf of the teachers and staff: WELCOME and WELCOME BACK! Yours in Education, Mrs. Shermel Grant-Hazel School Manager – H.S.H.C.S
